Recently, I got a chance to catch up with visual artist, Delphine Diallo @ her Bushwick Studio. We chatted about her emergence on the contemporary art scene in 2011, her plans for 2012 and what makes her work so visually stimulating. LARRY OSSEI-MENSAH

Larry Ossei-Mensah a.k.a 'Young Global' is a "cultural producer" and digital marketer whose astute sensibility of the creative community activates key events and happenings throughout various industries.

A fixture in the fabric of the NYC cultural scene, many know Ossei-Mensah, a first-generation Ghanaian-American, as their go-to "connector." This modern day flâneur stands at the intersection of the artistic realm, as a philanthropist, patron of the arts and documentarian of creative happenings for various publications (i.e. Arise Magazine, Uptown Magazine). With a uniquely rich perspective that positions him to be a linchpin and the voice of the rising creative class, Ossei-Mensah records his journeys through contemporary art and culture at www.myglobalhustle.com and www.youngglobal.net.

Ossei-Mensah received his B.A. from Clark University in Business Management and earned his M.B.A in Marketing from Les Roches in Switzerland. An advertising and entertainment veteran whose stints at Sony Music, ClearChannel, Fox TV, Carat Media, and The World Economic Forum have been the catalyst for his interest in digital media, Ossei-Mensah seeks to flip the script by co-authoring his first book Contemporary Aesthetics: Visual Paradigms of Art and The Construction of Taste: Television and American Home Décor. Ossei-Mensah lives and works in the cultural mecca, New York City.
